This past weekend I decided to visit one of my very favorite stores: anthropologie. I love nearly everything about this store – the clothes, home accessories, even the window displays make me swoon. Sadly my trip was more browsing than buying (I recently got back from a vacation in Italy and have tightened the purse strings), nevertheless, the visit did result in DIY inspiration.
I fell in love with the pom pom push pins as soon as I saw them. However, what I didn’t love – the price. At $15.00 they seemed a bit overpriced, so I decided I would DIY my own!

Supplies:
- Plain thumb tacks
- Cotton pom poms
- Glue gun
This very well could be the easiest and cheapest DIY project I have ever posted. It’s as simple as gluing the pom poms onto a tack. The resulting pins are incredibly cute; the perfect finishing touch to my moodboard.
